Link between worlds

What I do is between design, craft and art.

It is functional, custom made, sensitive and sometimes conceptual.

These curtains can dress rooms, dim

the light, regulate the heat and the cold, or separate the space.

They are often the result of a dialog with their commissioners, with a personal design hand sawn in Brussels, like an XXL embroidery.

Instead of blinding the world, they give a whimsical vision of it. It is a theatrical object creating an eerie and sensitive impression.

My practice is at the intersection between collectible design, arts & craft and Fiber art.

Collectible design talks beyond pure function between form and fantasy in very limited series or unique pieces.

Arts and crafts is defined by the taste of excellence and its eclectism, while pushing the envelope.

Fiber art disrupt the boundaries between fine arts, applied art and design.
